Leona Valley, California
Lake Elizabeth, Lake Hughes and Green Valley. Elevations of about 3,200 feet keep the climate moderate in this pristine area of northern Los Angeles County, cooler than the desert and inland valleys. These mountain communities are just 60 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. The communities of Santa Clarita (Valencia, Canyon Country, etc.) and the San Fernando Valley are about 22 miles and 35 miles, respectively, to the southeast.
